Web pages time out twice then load fine
I have a brand new computer with windows vista pro 64-bit. Most sites load quickly, but a few cause time outs every time I access them. The main site that I've noticed is Juno.com for e-mail. I am able to get to Juno, put in my password but when it goes to retrieve my messages it times out twice. Then on the third attempt it loads fine. Also, I've noticed that after Juno causes a time out, other sites don't load right away either. I thought i would post hear first because I'm not too confident in calling tech support from the manufacturer. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Upgrade to Windows 7, if you can get the free upgrade from place of purchase.

Once I moved to W7, so many Vista bugs are gone, thank heavens.

Does this happen on other PCs on that same internet connection?

I'm actually waiting for my free upgrade to windows 7 to arrive. I'm hoping I have the same result that you had.

Also, no it doesn't happen on either one of my laptops, nor did it happen with my previous desktop which was plugged into the network on the same port with the same cable.
