I also had no idea that running power directly between the houses was even being considered from the first posts! That's certainly using the power line adapters the hard way!

I still don't understand the reluctance to explore wireless solutions if this is line of sight. Do you really want to dig a 200 foot trench?

County, dont live in city, and only code would be that it has to be buired in, six feet or so with steel tubing.


but even if you ran the cat six cable you still want to dig whole, five feet or so and run cable in some nice pvc and insulated it from weather little.

well the power cable you could run above ground actully thats prefectly meets code around here you can run cable from building to build above ground as along as its so many feet above and cable can not be showing. or wire its self.

mabye I will just run both, if nothing elese ill see how powerline over internet works like that. and if i dont like it i can switch to othere way ?

if nothing elese I will have etra outlet in basement.

and if i am going to dig the whole i might as well dig whole and use pcp pipe and insaltion seperate the cat5 and cat 6 from the powerline.

I tryed wireless have exprince withwireless I just dont like it I find wirless internet to be unstable, and just horriable exprince.
