Are you talking about a wireless internet service or DSL or cable and using a wireless router? If the former, what service?

If the latter, do you have the same problem with an ethernet connection?

Does the internet randomly cut for a computer connected to the router by ethernet cable?

If so, does the internet randomly cut for a computer connected directly to the modem?

I'm trying to find out if this is a wireless only, a router only, or an ISP/modem problem.

Make sure you have the latest firmware for the router. Then reset it to factory default settings and reconfigure it.

Have you checked for wireless interference? Or, at least changed channels? In North America 1, 6 and 11 are good to start with.
