The reason I asked those questions is because from your initial description, which exactly matches the ipconfig /all you showed, either the modem is connected to a LAN port or else the router is very defective (treating the WAN port the same as a LAN port).
There may be another explanation, but I can think of none. Is your modem a Westell? Is it a modem/router combo? If so, how is it configured?
I would try another reset to factory default settings, and then shop for a router or, if the router is still under warranty, contact D-Link to start the process of getting a replacement. |
