That's like asking "How long is a road".

There are many fine routers, you need to define your budget and requirements. How much do you want to spend? Where in the world are you located? Do you want 802.11n? Do you want dual-band 802.11n/802.11g? Do you want a USB port to connect a printer or external disk? Do you want gigabit ports?

So you have no other requirements then you have that much money to spend?

Range is going to be dependent on your surroundings!

Understood, but I do know some have better range than others, right?

I've used the Buffalo Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54GL for quite some time.
Decent range and dependability is quite high. Price range is about
$59.

But, since your going for the 200 mark I'd recommend;
http://www.netgear.com/Products/APsW...nts/WG102.aspx for $180.

I heard it doesn't work too good with vista but, Windows 7 and XP run well.
You might want to wait for more of the tech guys to give a proper answer.

Well, I'd go with 802.11n, but don't expect the vast improvement in range that is claimed in many of the ads. My experience has been for some environments a good 802.11n router will increase range somewhat, but not for every environment.
