Exclamation Laptop Internet Not Working?
I Have A Dell Laptop And its a quite exspensive one. And A Month ago i sent it back to dell, because the hard drive was finished. ( Dell Studio 1735/ 32 bit/ Windows Vista)
They Gave Me a new one, free of charge and everything.
And Now 3 weeks later I Have Problems:
1.Internet was not connecting to wireless or cable.(Not even Showing that it is there)
2. Taking Forever to start after windows( Escalated To Not turning on, except in safe mode)

Now If I can get the internet back and get it to turn on i don't care.
But I Kinda Want to Reset it back to factory Default Settings.
I Went To the dell website and the procedure is not the same on my laptop.
Please Help I Want to have it fixed before Sunday.
Suggestion or anything please

You suppose you could share the exact model of the computer with us?

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type devmgmt.msc

Please respond to all the following steps.
  1. Under Network adapters, please tell me all the devices listed.
  2. Are there any devices under Network adapters that have a red x displayed?
  3. Also, are there any devices anywhere in the Device Manager display with yellow ? or ! displayed?

Let's see this as well.

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD then press Enter to open a command prompt:

In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command:

Note that there is a space before the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the / in the following command.

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter to copy the contents to the clipboard.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.

I'd try uninstalling ALL of the stuff under Network adapters one at a time from Device Manager, then rebooting and letting the proper ones be rediscovered. Windows apparently isn't recognizing any of your network hardware.
