Network drivers problem
Hello... I had a virus problem few days ago and I managed to remove it. But after that I ran in to some problems... My internet stopped working but I managed to fix it by going to CMD and resetting TCP/IP... But now in the device manager there are 3 networking adapters that have exclamation sign next to it... I cant find a download link for any of those. I tried to uninstall them but it gives me message saying "failed to uninstall the device. The device may be required to boot up the computer"... So far I know my wireless network doesn't work... Anny help would be much appreciated.. Thank You

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers for those devices with the exclamation marks next to them?

Perhaps this person's solution to that issue might help?

No further reply received, but I did solve the problem, so to help others ...

I went to:

Network and sharing centre

Network connections

r/clicked on wirless network

properties

unticked and uninstalled WinpkFilter Miniport drivers from this list.

Rebooted

This seemed to do it. The uninstals worked from here rather than from device manager - don't ask me why. I'm also doing this from memory so I hope I've listed all the steps - perhaps the pro's could confirm.

Try disabling all the devices with an error, right click on them and select Disable. Reboot and see if that changes things.

Thats the thing. It shows errors for those drivers but so far I don't have problem with internet so I have no idea what are those drivers for... But I keep getting Blue Screen for some reason at least once a day don't know if that's related to those drivers malfunctioning...

I don't think that's the same issue. The fact that those drivers are in error would indicate they probably aren't being called at all.

I'd forget about those and do the normal things for a blue screen, check your memory first. Fire one of these off in the evening and let it run all night. If you have any errors, you need to address those.
