Compaq Presario CQ60 issue
I am also having problems connecting to a brand new Virgin Mobile MiFi2200. Everything is registered and set up properly, as I am running our old HP Pavilion on it as we speak, but it will not allow my Compaq to connect. The message says"this computer is connected to VirginMobile MiFi2200 4DC Secure but does not have access to the internet.- If you are connecting to a wireless hotspot you might need to open a web browser to finish connecting."
After speaking to Virgin for 4 hours over the last 2 days, and spending 2-1/2 hours with the Geek Squad today, I am back to square one. Anyone else have this problem, or better yet, have any suggestions??

Thanks,
Jeff

First suggestion is that you will have better luck getting help with your own thread instead of tacked onto a Solved one. I've started one for you here.

Please show for both PCs ...

Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:
(For Vista or 7 type CMD in the Search box after Start)

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.
