Internet Lag Please Help =(
Hey guys i am having serios problems with my internet. I moved into my house about 4 months ago and my internet has been fine every since day. Except for the past 3 days i encounterd my first problems out of nowhere. My internet ping is really really really really high and it keeps going from 20(the norm) to about 5000 randomly every 10 seconds! This is really annoying since i host a video game i made and everyone is lagging out of the game. Nothing has changed for the past week so why 3 days ago did all of this start happening? Can anyone help me because i tryed restarting my computer, restarting the modem 2 times, unconnecting all cords a couple times, i even called my ISP and they came out and told me everything was fine with it. But im supose to be getting at least 8-10mbs download speed and im getting like 200kbs. Also it keeps stoping my downloads constantly.

SS

Please do the following:

Press the Windows key + R to open a Run box.

Type CMD.

Press OK.

In the Command Prompt, type ipconfig /all.

Press Enter.

Copy (right-click and Select All > press Enter) the entire content of that window and paste it into your next reply.

=================================================================

Please click HERE to download and install HijackThis.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile from the Main Menu.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

IMPORTANT: Do not fix anything

You have two antivirus programs installed on your computer, Avast and McAfee. Never install more than one.

To remove McAfee, run the McAfee Consumer Product Removal Tool.

RelevantKnowledge is adware/spyware. Try removing it from "Add or remove programs".

You say you have the EXACT SAME symptoms on your PS3 and other computer? Are the concurrent - i.e., if you run a ping/t command from both computers, the lag shows up in sync across both?

If that's the case, then you're looking at either an ISP issue or your Modem/Router is failing or overloaded.

Did your ISP provide your modem/router?

You could also change your DNS servers.

Try using Google Public DNS.

Or, OpenDNS.
