Wireless can be a whole 'nother set of problems, but I'd try it. There's nothing to lose, and if you don't get disconnects it would show that there is nothing wrong with your network and computer that we have overlooked.

would be nice to make sure your gateway is still 192.168.2.1

If it is, then chances are your router/gateway is the cause.

But then I didn't read the whole two threads.

This was wired. Trying out wireless now.

Problem solved!

After simply resetting my router, it fixed the issue. It has been one week, and I have constantly been using programs that would normally disconnect me (World of Warcraft, Divx player) and Iv'e yet to be disconnected. Thanks for all the help/advice given to me! Much appreciated.
