i had to look Diwali up, sorry for my ignorance, and found this
"While the story behind Deepavali and the manner of celebration varies from region to region (festive fireworks, worship, lights, sharing of sweets), the essence is the same – to rejoice in the Inner Light or the underlying Reality of all things"

I don't know about all festivals in all religions either. Diwali is one of our biggest festivals. In case, you need to find out something else about our festivals, feel free to ask me
