A Broken Promise
I think I promised not to post anymore flower shots unless it was something special. Well to me this is special because of the way the light hit it. There's so many different shades I find myself staring at it.

I don't profess to be a flower expert and to that end I must confess I don't have a clue what it's called so if someone can place a name to it and let me know I would appreciate it.

Thanks for looking...

Great photo. It sure has the look/shape of a type of Daisy of which there are several. A type of African Daisy may be:http://www.flowers.vg/flowers/africandaisy01.htm . Like you say, with the different shades of color, it`s kind of hard to tell. I know it`s probably not the exact one, but similar shape.

Guy, nice shot and I like this background comp as it does not take your attention away from the flowers but compliments them.

And the plot thickens. Great detective work Guyzer. I was curious when I saw the name Sunadora Marbella, so I read more on it, and the flower is of the type "Osteospermums". After a little more research(wikipedia, and others), the flower belongs to the Daisy family, and has a common name of African Daisy/South African Daisy/Cape Daisy/Blue Eyed Daisy. So, while my earlier reply might not have had the exact photo of your flower, looks like your flower is a daisy, and beautiful they are.
