Canadian Forces Snowbirds
This year happens to be Abbotsford Airshows 50th birthday and the Canadian Forces Showbirds are in town to help celebrate.

They arrived yesterday and used their practice slot this afternoon around 3:30. As usual I took my camera to work which is only 5 minutes from the airport and headed off to my usual hiding spot when I got off at 2:15. When I say hiding spot I'm not kidding because the police have the area closed so tight a grain of sand couldn't get through if it tried. Anywhoo ....I managed to crack off a few shots of not only them but a P-51, Spitfire and CF-18's which I will post in the next day or so as time permits.

In the meantime here's one for now.

Thanks for lookin'.

Nice.........love it when you post about the Snowbirds, because they used to come to Colorado annually and put on a dual show with the USAF squad over the Academy......

Excellent shots, Guyzer.....

Thanks Harry. Did you go look at the others that I posted and gave the link to? Not much really but there may be one or two that catch your eye.

Yea the CF-18 cool.

All look like the plane is not even moving.

I think the Spitfire one is the best seeing the person in it.

Gotcha... now what size do you want it and how large of a file will the e-mail system handle? Asit stands right now the file size is about 12 mb or so.

I make it a habit not to watch much tv before, during or just after the Olympics cuz I hate just about everything about 'em. To answer your question... no I didn't but I am curious now. Was it a part of the closing ceremonies or just a show that was on?
