Wink Buffy & Dickens
Hi Everyone...well here are my pets (finally)...

Here we have Buffy (aka as Buffy-the-Vampire Slayer....a shih tzu with a doberman attitude) and Dickens (as in a "lil Dickens" with attitude and just genuine cuteness meshed with pure snobbery...a very Himalyan Flame)

(**I think I'm getting the hang of this)

Susie stares at Sweety
Our three year old German Shepherd, Susie, has been sitting staring at Sweety the cat for about thirty minutes when I took this picture.

Many apologies for the two pictures. I am still unsure how to do these attachments properly.

Very nice looking lab, that Jake is. Here's our lady, Shadow, during winter last year when we lived near Churubusco, IN - she's three years old there.

Man, she loves the snow! Now that we live south of Chattanooga, she doesn't get too much of that white fluffy stuff to play and romp in...

Shadow's beautiful! She looks familiar. lol
I love our Lab. I just wish he didn't shed so much! And he still loves to chew - on all the wrong stuff (mostly shoes).
But, he's very sweet, good with the kids and, other than the chewing, well behaved.

Yea, by gum, and by tooth, do they ever love to chew on items... love 'em when they are pups, besides that aspect of their behavour. This goofy mutt even chewed up one of my electrical cords that was plugged in at the time - how she didn't get fried I still don't know. Now, she don't chew on items - she buries them. Still trying to find one of my caving boots that I had placed on the porch to dry! Gloves and socks are also buried if not careful - something about the odor I guess.

Labs are indeed beautiful, and intelligent - sometimes TOO smart! This is our second one; quite interesting tho' the differences in the personallities... for example, our first one [Shanna] would be all hyper when riding in the front seat of the truck w/ me, whereas this one just looks around, taking it all in.

After getting our fence up on our 5 acres here, will be looking at possibly having another mutt join us - most likely will be a Flat-Coated Retriever, if not another black lab. Raziel, I highly recommend one of these! I take her and the prior one caving, hiking, canoeing, etc. Wrestling in the winter is great too. Altho, the shedding, as ya say keajaa, does leave quite the mess. Hey, how old is Jake now?
