Yea hard to think anyone could get a shot like that. You think the cat would move on the butterfly.
Keeping images at 600 wide is best so you don't have to scroll.
If you want to post bigger full size images you can upload to webshots and post a link.

Chara, how do your girls like the humid heat of the Gulf coast? Beautiful animals, have always been taken by them, but was concerned about problems in the summer. Looks like yours are indoors? Shedding much of a problem? They much on swimming in the Gulf?

Hey Hobbes!
I was a breeder of Siberians for many years only because I love this breed but I moved 7 years ago and gave it up. I only put out 1 litter a year though only to share my dogs with others. It is very humid here on the coast but when they are born here they tend to adapt to the weather. Yes, I keep these two dogs in the house with me. We live on 9 acres of land here and its fenced in so they go outside many-many times a day to run and play. But they sleep in the house with us. The black & white siberian "sitka" is 14 years old and Meza is 3 years old...
They do shed but if they are brushed around every 3 weeks you really don't have much of a problem. They shed their winter coat for about 1 month in the spring but brushing clears that up for the summer. And they don't shed in the winter at all. I do vacuum 3-4 times a week because I let them go in & out so much that they tend to bring sand in on their feet
I'm lucky that my house is all italian tiles so its never a problem having the dogs in the house. And they never go into the bedrooms where we have carpet. (white carpet)
Meza does sleep at the foot of our bed at night because she's a baby
The thing I LOVE about these dogs is they have NO dog odor. NONE!
I've had Sitka for 14 years and no one can walk in my house and smell dog odors at all. These dogs do love water. We have a in ground swimming pool which they won't go into but when we walk them to the beach they love running in the shores of the gulf waters. The salt water kills any fleas they might have but I always rinse the dogs off when we bring them from playing in the gulf. Siberian's are very smart dogs and the females are amazingly smart. When we leave the house we have to cut our phone ringers off because Sitka will answer the phone. She only answers the phone if we're gone not when we're here
So glad you enjoyed my pictures. And I have to say I really loved the picture of the lake you posted... I grew up on a lake in South Carolina where we had 70 acres... I have a love for lakes and water... *smiles* Chara
