A few of my pictures with a Canon Digital Rebel
They may not be super good.. I'm not really good with photography yet, but I'm learning

This is my first set of shots.... they have not been processed at all

http://nerocom.us/temp/weed.jpg
http://nerocom.us/temp/duck1.jpg
http://nerocom.us/temp/duck2.jpg

Be aware these are pretty huge files.. 1-3 megs. And if you want to use them for something (by god why would you I have no idea) please just ask first!

nice shots! And they really were big! May I suggest that you consider resizing them to a more manageable size for viewing? I have a 17" monitor and still had to scroll side to side to see the whole pic.

I like the duck 1 pic...great detail. I wonder how he got that scraped mark on his bill, lol.

Very nice

You could also upload them to Webshots full size but when people look at them they would be able to see the full image. Then if they want to see the full size there is a link they can click on.

Now I am embarrassed, didn't know IE had a automatic picture resizer until I clicked on those pic links..............Pooooooof, big blurry picture resized and clear in seconds.
Guess I just never opened that large of file before.
Learned something here again

Another handy tip if you have XP and want to email and resize an image in one whack -

Open your big photo with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, right click the image, choose Send To> Mail Recipient...tic "make all my pictures smaller" (for different size options, click 'Show More Options'). Fast and easy. Pops up OEx (or , presumably, your default email program) and off you go.

anyway it will make a 1 to 3MB file quite manageable for a dialup recipient, (down to 55kb, but it varies) and if they don't zoom in on it much, it will look fine in an email.

Other photo software programs have a similar options, but as XP defaults to this viewer, it makes it a bit easier.

(unless you have changed the file associations )

Get Picasa It is Free

http://www.picasa.com/google/

It will resize your images for you and open your email program and attach the images as .jpg. There are other options also. One nice thing is it will resize all the images to the same size so it make it nice and neet to email. Then the html option will add the images in the body of the email.
