#2431 | Downloaded pix {redoak} "Raw" days of late, with high humidity and temps in the 30s and 40s F. Still a lot better than 1951 when the lows at this time were plus or minus 15 F. I was in the area attending college, and I remember that fall well!

#2434 | I much appreciate your expression of appreciation. I enjoy being an editor and posting what I consider very good pictures from among those I have downloaded from that site.
The number of "hits" that have accumulated since I began my Thread is beyond my expectations and even comprehension. Obviously, I am encouraged to continue posting the pictures, especially when someone like you urges me on.

#2439 | Downloaded pix {redoak} Wednesday and yesterday the high temp approached 50 F. here, with partial sunshine. However, it was windy, thus the need for a warm jacket. Rain starts this evening as the strong Atlantic coastal storm finally moves north along the coast.
Ruby-throated hummingbirds are seen in the eastern US. Come back Monday for a pic of a different species seen in the western USA.

#2444 | Downloaded pix {redoak} Monday and yesterday were carbon copies- sunny and pleasant. However, Monday was warmer and the best of the two.
Two pics of same species of bird from state of Texas, but taken 10 months apart.
