"Raw" days of late, with high humidity and temps in the 30s and 40s F. Still a lot better than 1951 when the lows at this time were plus or minus 15 F. I was in the area attending college, and I remember that fall well!

I much appreciate your expression of appreciation. I enjoy being an editor and posting what I consider very good pictures from among those I have downloaded from that site.

The number of "hits" that have accumulated since I began my Thread is beyond my expectations and even comprehension. Obviously, I am encouraged to continue posting the pictures, especially when someone like you urges me on.

Btfl and warm yesterday! High temp in low 60s F. Mornings are still chill, however. Saturday was the coldest morning so far at 23 F.

Three photos of the same species of heron today. All from FL, USA.

Wednesday and yesterday the high temp approached 50 F. here, with partial sunshine. However, it was windy, thus the need for a warm jacket. Rain starts this evening as the strong Atlantic coastal storm finally moves north along the coast.

Ruby-throated hummingbirds are seen in the eastern US. Come back Monday for a pic of a different species seen in the western USA.

Lovely Hummers.

We have a lot of them in Sacramento. They are so neat to observe.

0.64" of rain here on Saturday. Heavy fog yesterday morning, but is was mostly sunny in the afternoon. Forecast is for several days of sunny, but chill weather ahead.

As promised, a western "hummer" today. Pic taken in CA, "poochee."

Gorgeous coloring.

Getting colder here, I had to wear a sweater yesterday. Got into the 30s last night. Still sunny though.

Monday and yesterday were carbon copies- sunny and pleasant. However, Monday was warmer and the best of the two.

Two pics of same species of bird from state of Texas, but taken 10 months apart.
