Having to daily protect sensitive flower plants. Low temps forecast for the rest of this week is bleak.

I never had any luck growing Morning Glories. Gave up years ago.

Lovely Morning Glory RedOak,

It reminds me of when we were about 5 years old & went down the backyard to cry after we'd had a smack for being naughty,

What parents were able to do "in the good old days." I have memories, too, but no morning glories are included.

Interesting flowers.

Same here, I recall a green springy switch.

This pic was taken on Sept. 22nd by a visiting relative. There is a calendula flower at the very bottom of the pic.

Ah, is that what they are?

The hotel was a South American theme
Those flowers were more on the opposite side of where our cabana was
They were close to the windows. Joe kept saying "people are gonna think you are peeping at them!"

I do not like to lose blooming annuals that can be 'protected.' Consequently, after ten days of close to or actually below freezing temps, I still have blooming potted annuals. Temps to stay above freezing for the foreseeable future, too.

I have never seen an orange blossom. The second pic is a 'bonus.' A very beautiful, pastoral scene from France.
