I have been protecting my potted annuals from recent below freezing morning temps. Consequently, I still have some brightness by my breezeway entrance. I do not give up easily!

It is always a disappointment that the flowers on "holiday" cacti last such a short time. I am regularly "dead heading" mine that have been producing flowers for perhaps two weeks.

Today I start a period of pix of roses. Enjoy!

Lovely flowers RedOak,

glad you are still enjoying a few of your own also, ..... my Cactus flowered also & only lasted less than a week.

We've had some very warm dry weather & then a lovely downpour at the weekend to revive the gardens.

Perennials are wonderful, but a lot of work in the fall when they need to be cut down. That job was done here yesterday by a new "helper" using my weed wacker with a special head for handling woody stems.

No post Friday. Be back Monday.

I did have a nice Tday visit. Even saw a huge, trailing, flowering plant of unknown description at my nephew's home.

My severely cut back "Crown of Thorns" has a single flower. There are several new stems at the very base of the single stem with the flower.
