Welcome to TSG

Do you use AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) by any chance?

Issue with file that reappears
Hi,
I'm not using AIM and I went to "add/remove" and it doesn't seem to be there.
What next?

I had a feeling it was a folder. That's why I asked about AOL Instant Messenger.
With AOL Instant Messenger, the filelib folder will regenerate anytime AIM is started.
It's a folder that stores files you've uploaded or downloaded.

Some program that you launch is creating this folder.

Hi,
Any guesses what other programs may be causing it other than AIM?

Let's see what other programs you have installed.

Download Hijack This from here: http://216.180.233.162/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe
Save it to a permanent folder like Program Files or My Documents
Double click HijackThis.exe and click Open the Misc Tools section.
Click Open Uninstall Manager > Save list and save the log to your Desktop.
A list of programs will open in Notepad. Post the contents of this log.
