dont understand,

"The coloring isn't added in the following. This is what the city lights did to the bottom of the shelf on my long exposures. You could see this tinge while viewing it with your eyes but obviously not this bright. The ones that have purple in them have that because of the lightning."

what does that mean?

wow them are some awesome pics. i know them babies are dangerous. but i love thunderstorms. i would like see a real one like them. were i live they dont get that big . thanks for the show

Yea. Im guessing they take something like a high quality video and take the frames in which there is lightning? Just a guess... correct me if im wrong.
