Thanks Barry, about 30 ft hewee, I took the photo through a fence. He was on display in a public park in the town of Dannivirke, sitting quiety like that because his antlers were is the state of growth that is called velvet, they are sensitive then, so he would have been not wanting them knocked around on the trees or fences, sat in the same place the two days I was there.
Lucky bugger had a harem of females in the same pen as him along with some of his progeny. Might as well meet a couple of them to.



Antlers on a deer's grandmother would equate to a moustache on our grandmothers Odin OdeERO

That is very close you got still to not even have them get up and move. But if they know that there is a fence and nothing on the other side of it is going to bother them then they will relax when your around.
