where did ya find him gerry, down the westcoast way? looks like the pancake rocks type structure. good clear photos anyway, that last one he's aware of you anyway nice

Not expensive but impressive for the price $480 New Zealand (christmas special) which I think is about $330 American.
Photo 6 was taken at full zoom which is 12 x optical and then I cropped it a little maybe 15-20%.

It has all the main features you need for good basic photography with an awesome lens. The falcon was roughly 7 or 8 meters from where I took the pics.
