Flowers from an English Garden
I didn't know that lily of the valley made seed pods until a couple of years ago - they look like tiny redcurrants and the same year an old red camelia bush produced a 'fruit' causing quite a lot of interest! I thought they may be of interest to some of the other viewers of Photo Album and after Blackmirror has told me how to do it I am now going to attempt to post them.....fingers crossed......Margaret

Hi Margaret
Nice to meet you.
Love your greenery photos. I didn't know that about the lily of the valley either.
The "squirrel feeder" photos are very funny.
Thanks for sharing them
You can click on the little red triangle on the top right corner of your first post, and ask a Moderator to fix your wee typo or change the name of the whole thread to something else, if you like. i.e. Margaret's Photos
Also, if you look through the Photos forums, you'll see all sorts of threads (and subjects), so you can post photos like Nature or Pets or what have you in them, by clicking the last post's reply button and in replying insert or attach your own photo.
If you need help, it's never far away.

Take care

Carolyn

Thank you so much for the nice comments and the helpful tips. I have asked the moderator to change the title and hope the new one - Flowers from an English Garden - can be used.
I am posting a couple of my clematis which have been flowering for the past couple of weeks - hope you like them!

Kind regards Margaret

Not too far away - we have moved back to Essex now. If we have much more rain you will get a natural pond.......!! We had a small one until we moved and really miss it but luckily we have the river 3 minutes away and the Swan has just given birth to 5 signets.....we are hoping for some sun tomorrow to take a couple of pictures.

You've a beautiful garden and flowers, Margaret. Looking forward to more.
I'm in the process of re-building my garden.
There's a thread in Random if you're interested, called The Potting Shed, where members talk about their gardens and post photos. Hope to see you there, too.

Poochee: That's a squirrel not a cat. You've been hanging out with Blackmirror too much.

the rain arrived just as my double centre clematis was ready to bloom.......Vyvyan Pennell is one of my favourite clematis because the bud takes almost 3 weeks to fully open and will last ages in the garden and in a vase - earns her place in a small garden!

I like this little pink one too and though the flowers don't last long they keep coming....like the rain here at the moment.....

regards .....Margaret
