Beautiful rose Penny - I think these last blooms of the summer flowers are even more welcome than the first ones because they seem to put a huge effort to be bigger and more fragrant - besides they lift the spirits don't they?

Kind regards.....Margaret

Pleased you enjoyed the rose, Yvonne and Margaret. Yes, it is uplifting to see roses and flowers late in the year. A friend has a border of new roses planted in the early summer and a lot of them are still flowering for the first time.
