Pictures from John McCain Town Meeting in SC
I went to the John McCain town meeting today in Greenville SC at Tommy's Ham House
and got some photos .
In front left seated bald headed man is my Dad beside him in brown jacket my Uncle who trained Montyard in Vietnam War in highlands . McCain got him to pin on a SC lapel pin ,guess he has them for all states and forgot it was not on his jacket.
I missed it in the crowd wish I had gotten that shot .
The other guy on stage is Attorney General SC Henry McMaster .
Of course you know Lyndsey Graham and Cindy McCain.
Hope you enjoy them no matter who you support

ya got yourself a bit of history there, littlefield
when i was in middle school, ronald reagan tried on his "political feet" by talking to us eighth graders about america, and democracy, etc (this while the extent of his political experience was still limited to the screen actors guild )

as i remember the occassion, the assembly just happened...it was never announced before hand, and was a complete surprise....and my mom INSISTED i write him a letter aftewards.....to which he responded personally with a brief note (obviously imagining that i'd vote for him 16 years later )

that's my bit of history

what'd ya think of McCain "up close and personal"?

He was sharp nothing senile about him and he answered questions in town hall format .He is better speaking on the cuff in person then using a teleprompter.

I just got back from seeing McCain.

He is very fit.

My pictures came out badly. I ended up behind the stage and the TV lights messed things up and made it difficult to focus. I was probably only about 10-15' from him most of the time.

Fidelista ,appreciate the kind words and glad you enjoyed them . Cindy McCain is very striking in person .
Yea my Mom's brother ,the Vietnam vet as I said really likes McCain .
Dad questions him some on immigration and said he would never vote for him but now for the most part agrees with his stances since McCain said we need to enforce the border .
