I need your opinion, which direction to go on a Logo
I hired someone to work on a logo for me..

After a few concepts.. this is the direction i decided to go into..

An icon then our name..

We are a small insurance agency in southern california.. we are targeting the homeowners and pretty much any type of client.. so we want to reflect that we are serious.. and.. also.. show some professionalism.. and some credibility.. i want to start developing my brand.. but also we are not an ultra serious type of agency..

So as you can tell one is more rounder, a little 'softer' while the other one is sharper and crisper (for lack of better words).

I know that some of you will comment on the dot.. there's no explanation for it.. it just is! lol.. thank you for your opinions

The one on the right side appears more artistic, but the one on the left catches my eye and leaves me with a better visual impression of what your company is involved in and identity. It's a font issue for me.
I find the font on the right side distracting and slightly more difficult to read . The left side has better/easier recognition, imo.

I vote for the one on the left, too.

Yup I agree with Stoner about the font being better on the left.

Left as well more simple clean lines . Right is kinda jumbled busy IMO.
