Photos of my walk round Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire
The day before I went to Devizes, I visited Bradford-on-Avon (the next town to Trowbridge) on the bus and took these photos. It's a lovely little town with beautiful buildings. The Church of St. Lawrence, a Saxon chapel, was discovered in relatively recent times when someone altering a building found it beneath the building he was renovating. There aren't many of them in the country as complete as this one, It it thought to have been built in the late 10th, early 11th Century.

You are very welcome, poochee and Margaret. I hadn't realized you spent time in Bradford-on-Avon. Did you live there, or was it a holiday?

Hello Lu.

Hope you are well. You are very welcome. I'm pleased you enjoyed the photos. I did a long walk around the village on the Longleat Estate and will post some of the photos I took, later.
