You like Orchids 'eh? They have to be my fav flower and like you I have a pile of shots from a show I attended 4 years ago. This shot is my absolute favorite one of the bunch or of all my flowers for that matter. I think it's a beauty of a flower. I often set it as my desktop. It looks a bit nicer when it's full sized and not altered.

Cannot remember if I posted this or not but it is one of my most favorite close up shots.
Really enlarged it is tack sharp and scarier looking

Thanks Guy, yea it was aganist the screen .I agree it would be look better aganist a better background .Having fun with my 17-85 IS . I believe you said you had one and they are versatile are they not !
