Hopefully it will get better soon. I hope it doesn't make it in your house.

once it stops raining. the water goes down. its just the drainage ditch cant handle that much water at once. a few years ago it was really bad. almost every house on the street got flooded. then they were suppose to fix it but they haven't. we are going to get more rain over the weekend

I hope that you can get a break from the rain.

What gets me is seeing how close the water is to the homes but you do not see sand bags any where.

I hate it when that happens

I used to live in a little town called Dickenson, and after hurrican Alica came thru, my yard looked exactly like your photos. I lost 18 mature oak trees, 6 huge pecan trees. When I went out to inspect the damage, early in the morning, I had to retreat back inside of the house, as there were at least 20 "islands" of floating fireants, everywhere on the property...and those ants were not in a nice mood....was dangerious to even be out there!

It took me 3 weeks to cut up/ clean up all the destroyed trees and fencing.

I hope you haven't suffered any house or property damage!!
