Banff, Alberta - The Canadian Rockies.
I had extra days off this weekend (Friday to Tuesday) So Melissa, Liam and I took a trip to the big rocks in the sky. Luckily it is only a 1˝ drive from home. It is very touristy but the fresh air, mountains and smell of fresh pines is almost theraputic.

Here are some shots we took. Not professional by any means, but very memorable.

It was a hot day in the mountains so we treated Liam to some icecream.

This is he, named Colin: he was a fantastic host and kept us entertained for over an hour. He even let me sample several wines so I could order an appropriate one for our meal:

No those are not UFO's over the mountains. They are bug guts on the car windshield!

Hi, I enjoyed viewing your pictures. The scenery is lovely.

And of course always glad to see Liam. He is really eyeing the ice cream.

Yes, it is very beautiful in the mountains. And also yes; Liam is already an ice cream junkie!
