So are a lot of endeavors......the point being those other endeavors intrude on the art of photography too much in the images you provided, imo.
Most photography is enhanced to some degree, even in the days of developing with chemicals.
But much HDR is starting to swing to distortion than neither a camera can produce on it's own or the eye can naturally perceive.
As I understood the early purposes of HDR.....it was to approximate the experience of perception of the eye and uncover the darkness and contrast that a camera lens induces, but the brain resolves.
Mostly what I saw in those photos was the distortion of color on top of gamma adjustment to contrasted elements.
I'm not knocking HDR......I've seen some fantastic shots from inside a Cathedral on a sunny day with light streaming in, and HDR capturing the experience of being there instead of being exposed to the limitations of a len's perception.
So.....distortion is essentially an art form, too

And that's my comment on some HDR.
I have seen some incredible HDR with out having to jack up contrast and saturation .
That was interesting art, but as photography....meh.
