1954 Fiat Supersonic
These are not pics I took, but some I ran across. For 1954, a really amazing look for a car, I thought I had seen almost all cars of that time, but this one had eluded me.

No surprise that it eluded you , me too .!
The Italians back in those days used several coachmakers to build cars , each building their own version. Some versions completely different making things difficult at best ,
These Fiat 8V's were built in many versions { badged as Fiat} , and the one you posted . the Supersonic , was one I never seen before .
The really interesting thing to me is the fact that they built a V-8 { 100HP +}.
During the 1953 -1954 period they built several body styles , and one was really beautiful to my eye . One of the best looking Fiats of the time IMO .
I attached a photo of it --its the white one . I believe it a Zagato body ?.
Looks pretty well balanced and modern to me . >f

I`ve see that white one before somewhere, tv car show auction, or a car book, and you are right, very very nice. You have to know that with 100hp+ in those small lightweight things that they had do fly. It must have been such a joy to drive one in 1954. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Fidelista, if you`ve got time, take a look. I found another 54 fiat that I have never seen before, I swear, I never knew those early 50`s fiats were beautiful: http://www.supercars.net/Pics?v=y&id...4_Fiat_8V4.jpg

Another interesting design , a Russian Volga . Some of these are 300 + plus horsepower V-8's , and some V-12 BMW. .
I like the style , its old school and I am old !. Looks like the best the west designed --many years ago !.
A very pretty automobile IMO . >f
