If your just doing 4x6 prints, In my opinion the hp photosmart 145 or 245 is incredible compared to others (strictly my opinion) A friend of mine brought one over and plugged his card in, and printed surprisingly fast. Its also is very quiet. I was really impressed with the quality of print it made. I compared the picture to another "store printed" one and we both could see the difference. He used the 145 which you can find for $150, but the 245 sells for around $200 I think, its pretty much the same thing except for an LCD which allows you to view the images before printing. I don't know what brand your looking for exactly, but I think HP is the way to go for photo printers. I have'nt read any reviews on it, I'm just going by what I've seen. However which way you go, good luck on finding one that's right for you. |
I got my prints back from Ofoto and they were much better than the ones from Walgreens. The colors were much better and the images very sharper. Same cost $.29/print but you have to pay shipping. They did send several coupons with the order. I did a comparison a while back with Ofoto, Photoworks, Shutterfly and Snapfish. I sent the same prints to each so I could compare. Ofoto was clearly the best, and Snapfish the worst. The other 2 were in the middle. At that time Ofoto cost more, but now is about the same. |
