Hi Fred from uk Hello guys. I'm Fred from uk. I'm currently using 2 legendary old laptops: ibm thinkpad 600x and Clevo (mesh)d480w. Both have windows xp 2000 for the moment. I know that I should just bin them, but I'm attached to strong reliable old stuff. I'm planning to upgrade the Clevo with windows 7, and I don't know what to do yet with the ibm as the maximum memory is 576mb on that one far too low to install windows 7, but I'm sure there are solutions.
Great site, plenty of tips to survive in the computer jungle. My contribution will be a very modest one as I'm still struggling with certain basics, but I've had those machines I mentioned above for a few years now so I can advise on certain of their strange behaviours and parts if needed. |
