No noose. Simply pleased that a few good ol' boys played his own game on him. I truly hope that the truth comes forth, if for no other reason, than closure for Natalee's family and friends.

In closing, I think he's guilty, and the justice system has a lot to be desired.

I agree, their justice system, just like the U.S. justice system, has a lot to be desired

I find it ironic when the U.S. tries to call the kettle black in another country.

It was a blanket statement. THE justice system, everywhere! (Well, except, maybe China? )

Here is a funny cut and paste from one of the news stories, a role model father

Van der Eem said he spent about two months getting to know Van der Sloot, regularly smoking marijuana together and playing poker late into the night, the businessman approached Dutch television crime reporter Peter R. de Vries, who rigged up a new Range Rover with secret cameras to capture their conversations.

"Why did I want this? It's obvious. Everybody was looking for the truth for (Holloway's) mother," he told ABC News, which planned to broadcast the interview on its "20/20" program Monday night. "I'm a father. I have two children, a girl six years old and a boy two years old.

Last I checked, smoking marijuana was illegal Wonder if they will arrest him?

But that's the norm for the Netherlands and their island Aruba. The Sodom and Gomorrah of Europe. That's why a lot of people go there.

pooch, If I remember correctly, there was a news article that they were going to make it illegal in the Netherlands... not too sure if that will include Aruba.

Yes, I saw that. They need to do something over there.

On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren

What Do You Believe?

Exclusive: Joran van der Sloot tells Greta that he "sold" Natalee Holloway, only to claim afterward that he made up the entire story. What do you think?

I looked at this earlier. Watched the video. This guy is a moron. He's a good reason to authorize torture interrogation

There is definitely something wrong with him.

Interesting that he is estranged from his parents.

I still think his father helped him dispose of Natalee to protect him.
