#1488 | Hey valis if we cant get wireless there maybe we can just hook up a bunch of wifi routers and then just sit the last router next to the laptop and there ya go . But your not doing it with my laptop! . If you bloke windows anyway i now have a backup solution for it. So i would just restore the iso in the hidden partition of the drive that the program created and all would be fine

#1492 | Ehh well omega one problem with your theory...EVERYTHING NEEDS A MICROCRAP OS TO RUN! I plan to try that pclinuxos thing you mentioned a while ago when the old box my sister uses right now is vacated. Imma stick its old small 10 gig in there, dban and then load the os with that and experiment with it there.

We just started getting cell service as of about a week ago here. Maybe they're starting to notice hillbilly heaven. Only wireless around is mine, but there's no internet running through it since we can't get broadband. It's available for a .2 mile streach of my road.
I wish they'd do something with this. It's been unused since 1987.
Also found this site on it: http://www1.shore.net/~mfoster/Peru.htm
Apparently they built it and didn't use it much.

Apparently they built it and didn't use it much. | I love the internet, love technology, but were I to be left to my druthers, I'd be on a farm in the middle of Canada, no phone, no television, couple of large stupid dogs, and the usual assortment of cattle, horses, and chickens. Said that from pretty much age 10. Just don't like people. They are too unpredictiable. Leave me to my books, my writing, and that is cool.
Problem is, I sorta fell butt over teakettle for a girl that thinks that Canada is a neighboring planet, PLUS it snows, so here I am in houston.

#1498 | lol, I am the same way valis. I would not be without my Internet, but I don't like people ether. I want to find a nice spot in the middle of nowhere (with a highspeed cable connection ) where I don't have to deal with people all the time.

I have no clue who anyone on my street is, with the exception of a couple: one being my former bus driver, who I talk to when she's outside, the others I just kind of know, but don't talk to much.
