Well OS, since you're in Mandriva I dunno. And neon, I have them working, just not in Opera (read it's reallllllly hard to get java to work in Opera)

I did it awhile back in the console for FC2. I don't use graphical installs in linux. I got the full package zipped up installer and I ran than.

I only use Anaconda as a graphical installer. All other installs are done from the terminal.

And those notes for java should be the same since java is a multi-platform/distro program.

I might. I remember signing up for a bunch of linux forums when I started out, but cant remember what ones I belong to.
I was going to post the question about flash and java in my ongoing "at first you dont succsed" thread over in the Linux/unix forum after my question about installing my ATI card with 3d capibilities got answered.

No New Desktops....yet. Having 8 desktops to fill is hard! So many combinations! Though I think I might go with some Anime desktops this time around, just cant pick between Trigun, GITS, NGE, Gundam Wing, Berserk, FMA and Cowboy Bebop.

I've seen the whole series and the movie. All were great. I should read the manga but I really don't wanna order anything.. I'm sure I could get it somewhere
