The name depends on how the car is acting at that particular moment. Most times it's just baby. i.e., come on baby, you can do it.

Waiting for a rebuild my "Power Wagon" is call the "Power Slug"..
For some reason, holding the gas to the floor doesn't seem right to back up a small hill..

Low range it can still pull semi trucks (lorrys for our english friends) out of ditches..

Celica GT-S is called "Lil' Zoomie"..
Caprice Classic Diesel is known as "Ol' Blue", or "Ol' Smoky"..
86 Subaru is known as "Scooby"..

All of them have been called POS, like stoner said..

I'm like Mar1....I call my '89 Cutlass Ciera "Baby" when I want it to start or do something for me!

Bill: I'm not sure where my Mom got "Nellie Bell" from...this was in the early 60's....could it be??

Well, I have a permanent plaque under the hood of my 68 Mustang with this name (lower left corner).

My Dodge Dakota "work truck" (ha-ha) is aptly named "My B-25". Sounds like one on take-off in "hot" weather. Has something to do with the fan thermostat and pulling more air....etc.....etc. techno terms by Dodge.....hmmm?.......

My little Honda V-6 powered V-Tec Electric Blue Vue is known as "BlueVueBayou". If you ever taken a ride in one, you'll understand. Not bad for a SUV!

*I know, I know! I'm a very "sick man" for naming all my vehicles.....*
