Artist that paints to music on stage
A long (long) time ago I saw (on TV) a guy who paints (mostly with his hands, large brushes, throwing paint, ect) on stage with different rock & roll songs playing in the background.

The one particular song/painting that I remember was of Jimi Hendrix, while Purple Haze was playing.
The guy would paint to the music, and you could almost not be able to tell what he was painting until the song was nearly over.
The paintings were wild (and the guy was just as wild).

Does anyone know the name of the guy who did those rock & roll portraits on stage?

I've googled myself silly, and I still can't find the answer.
Anyone ???

Now I'm trying to find if there is any available video of his performances.
