As I predicted, my family has indeed gotten hostile.

Oh wells, that'll change today, because they've decided to take me down to a mission that I have no idea of and move in there...at least, temporarily.

For the last few days I've been having increasingly a hard time trying to get ahold of the DHS and Social Services...but I think they're essentially the same agency....and talk with them.

Will try again tomorrow...IF the library network isn't out.

The mission may be a temporary answer to your problem. Just take it one day at a time.

Received this from a friend today and would like to share.

Whatever your cross, whatever your pain, there will always be sunshine, after the rain....

Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall; But God's always ready, to answer your call....

He knows every heartache, sees every tear, a word from His lips, can calm every fear...

Your heartaches and sorrows may linger, throughout the night, But suddenly vanish, dawn's early light...

The Savior is waiting, somewhere above, to give you His grace, and send you His love...

Litomo,

See if someone at the mission can help you get a hold of DHS. Usually people working in a mission try to be very helpful and caring. Are you moving there by yourself or with your family? Still praying for you.

Did you read this Litomo? God is there for you, even when no one else is.

Then I wouldn't know. I hope he's safe there. And FYI, Bombay is now Mumbai.

Just now, I did, Grandma.

Interesting...my family seems to have changed its mind about helping me move to the Mission.

Well...every day that they stall in getting me to the Mission is another day to my advantage as I work in getting ahold of the DHS.

It seems they operate on a very limited time basis.

My wife is a mess over it.

I know she was saved about 20 years ago, and that gives us some comfort, but I am unsure if the conversion was genuine, as she didn't worship or study. Anyway, that's not my place to judge.

My wife is 32 days sober now, and I was a bit concerned that this event might turn around all that progress. So far, so good.

I just pray that she find the comfort only Christ can give when being led through such a heartache. She and her Mother were close.

Thanks,

Mike
Hi Lan ........... I am so sorry for the loss of your mother in law and the pain that holds for your wife. I have felt many pains in my life, but there has been no pain to compare to the loss of a Mother. I want to congratulate your wife on her then, 32 of sobriety. A day at a time, I pray she begins her new way of life and a new hope for her tomorrows.
