I can only imagine how frightening that must have been for him. Missing a leg and all.

While I want to do all I can to encourage him and support him, I am not looking forward to the visit. Shame on me.
That's not unusual. I think we feel that way because we are not sure of what to say. Just being there for him will comfort him. Words will come when you see him.

I'll definitely go, but it is so painful to see a friend go through such a major life-changing ordeal.

My grandma went to the dr today for a check up. They did a chest xray and something showed up. The dr. was pretty concerned. They don't know what it is yet, so they are running more tests. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Cheeseball, praying for your grandmother and wisdom for the doctors who care for her.

Lan, I am praying for Lee. How unfortunate and I will pray for your visit that you can be an encouragement to him

It has now been a month since my daughter's boyfriend was killed in a motorcycle accident. Motorcycles didn't use to bother me so bad but the more accidents I have known about lately, I really don't like them much at all anymore.

Thanks guys. This morning was quite a nightmare. My grandma was sitting on the couch, totally incoherent. We called 911 and an ambulance came for her. She seemed to snap out of it, but they ran some tests at the hospital and admitted her. Seems she was dehydrated, has an infection and pneumonia. Her brain catscan was fine, but the chest xray still indicates something (possibly the pneumonia) so they are doing a lung catscan tomorrow.

Thanks.

It just never ends. There must be a dark cloud over my family these days.

We are getting all different answers from the doctors regarding her test results.
Now they're saying she must have had a stroke some years ago. And the spot could be cancer.

Then I just got a phone call about my great uncle. They are pretty sure he had a stroke too.

Life is just grand.
