Treatment Continues for Children in Car Accident

Two children are being treated for injuries suffered in a two car crash Wednesday morning. Nine year old Brittney Ruckle is being treated for critical injuries at a Grand rapids hospital while her brother Jordan's condition is said to be improving. He was not transferred downstate and remains in Traverse city.

Wednesday morning the children's grandmother was driving the two on Potter Road. She stopped at the Garfield intersection and went ahead when she thought it was clear, but officers say there was another vehicle heading down Garfield that could not stop in time. Witnesses support the Undersheriff's assessment and several hope something will be done to make the intersection safer before another accident like this happens again.

Many prayers being said.

Ok, this one might be different. Its not sick people or anything although they deserve equally as much but mine is well, prom night. Yes it is next week and this girl i met not too long ago thanks to a good friend of mine. But im nervous as heck and the girl seems kinda shy around new people and well im just hoping the night goes well basically . Im not the best at social stuff either so its gonna be a feat. I am really just going as friends and hope to establish that status with this girl during the night. We have talked alot over the computer too. Just hope the night goes well i guess.

I realized lets not forget the friend who gave the original reference and i hope the night goes well for him too as we are going as a group of friends. I just want the night to go well. It could turn into more than friends although that will be unlikely. I just want to make a good friend.

Yes it will we will have a good time. I just get over nervous then calm then nervous. I swear the nerves in me declared world war III over this. Cause i want to have a good time and hope she opens up to me cause she is known to be shy to a new face. So we just take what we got plan wise, say a prayer and go. .

If it makes you feel any better, a lot of us were nervous about the prom but when we got there we forgot nerves and had fun.
