I'm pretty sure it was taken as such, valley. I know I took it as humor. I envisioned a showdown a la that movie about gangs in the '60's; snapping fingers and dancing, the Bible Brigrade and the God Squad square off in the warehouse district of Purgatory.

Found this quote........thought i would share it.

...this being IMO the most important question asked, I will attempt to answer it first.

...If you asked one thousand person to define God... you would get 1000 very different answers. And since our own personal reality is all that is real for any of us, it stands to reason that we all have our own personal God.

...that being said, it stands to reason that we all respond to our personal reality... ...Omega_Shadow has a God that is quite different from mine and thus responds to it in a very different way that I respond to mine... and, with all due respect to OS... I do believe that in large part because of that, we each have a very different quality of life.

…so, to sum it up… my ‘own personal God’ is the omnipotent God… it is just that I have a different reality of Him.

okie doke. Let me gnaw on this a bit, and then I'll get back to you. I'm still trying to decide if you mean that your God is part of the Godhead; I think you do, but am unsure. It also sounds as if you believe that your God may differ in effectiveness from others; is that correct?

…definitely… you find what you seek… I seek the reality of my God and, that is what I find… (He loves me… He protects me… He guides me… He gave me free will… etc…)

ok, so we have one member of the Bible Brigade so far: me. Anyone else?

And I have to ask...have I done something specifically to you that caused you to write me off like you have? Because I keep getting these bad vibes off of you and I have no idea where they came from because I barely know you.

to me that almost sounds NON-religious, essentially the power of positive thinking, although this could be the logic side of me looking at it.....I'm still thinking about the earlier post, will get back on both in a few....
