Significant others that don't realize that after working my butt (I'm allowed to say that ... right?) off all week I might like to spend my Saturday home relaxing (and by relaxing I mean recovering so I can go back to working my butt off the next week)

edit - also why is it ok for a woman to complain about a man or a minority to complain about a member of the majority but if a member of the male majority complains about them we are labeled as a racist or sexist?

SMART@SS!!!! I ALWAYS replace the tools to the exact model if at all possible, so no one should have a problem with me breaking a tool....except for me of course, since the last tool I "broke" (more like the little plastic tabs finally wore out) was a power tool that was rather expensive to replace.

people that drive pick up trucks .... why do so many people that drive pick ups feel they have the inalienable right to park where ever they feel like? Why do they feel fire lanes are reserved parking places for their over sized phallic symbols? Do they feel they are not breaking the law because they will "only be there a moment while they get a cup of coffee" or is it that parking laws don't apply to them because their phallus is bigger than the phallus of the person driving around issuing the tickets?

Why do you think that just because someone drives a pickup that they have some sort of "penis complex"??? Some people drive them because they need to have a pickup for chores or to pull a trailer on a regular basis with. And why is it more of a problem that people who drive pickups parking in fire lanes, etc., more of a problem than the idiot driving the overgrown mosquito-mobile who does the same thing??

Also, I've dated a few cops in my day, and there DOES seem to be some sort of a connection between cops and small dicks....

Ok, so not really...I don't think I've ever dated a cop...but it did sound good, and hopefully put a smile on your face!! Cheer up, and get over the "your dick is bigger than mine" thing ....there'll always be someone bigger, it's how much your woman appreciates what you have that matters!!

because ... at least where I work ... it seems the larger the vehicle the more likely it is that it will park in the fire lane (or my loading bay)

I didn't add the phallic reference to my rant because of envy ... it was an attempt at levity, to add a small bit of humor to make me look less bitter .... guess I failed

but I did smile

Usually I have a hard time deciding if I hate liar's or thieves more but today it's easy. My wifes wallet was stolen while she was at work today. One of the employees left a door open at the back of the store and in a heartbeat it was gone. She had about $100 cash in it and in the long run who cares about the money. It's the ID etc and credit cards that's going to cause trouble. I have spent a good part of the day filing police reports, closing credit cards, changing access to our accts and that's just the tip of what we / she has to do. The only break she got was that her keys were laying right beside the wallet and the idiot didn't take them. If I could just get my hands on him / her for just a few seconds that individual would be making medical history. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Tell your wife to buy herself one of those little purces that the taxi drivers use. It has a belt on that will fit around her waist. So then she will always have it with her.

To late now and besides it wouldn't look good while at work. All she needs in the future is a card holder that will slip into her pocket and protect her drivers license and other ID. Anything else while at work is unnecessary and I will gently remind her of that.

Not all people who drive pickup trucks are inconsiderate, infact most of them are very considerate. I live in the country and most of us have and need a pickup. I realize that a crew cab long bed takes up a lot of parking space. We now have a crew cab short bed and we don't take it into the cities unless we have too. The last time was to get my Polaris Ranger reparied. Our SUV can tow a trailer, but our truck can handle going up and down hills a lot better. We have had cars pull right out in front of our truck and stopping or at least slowing down a truck unexpectly with trailer isn't easy.
