Miscommunication.

Bomb comes in gripping about a mag cover that has the listings of programs with explicit (sec-tual ) story lines in bold font (guessing ) and he's embarrassed to be seen with it. All he wants to know is when Corrie's on. He considers using a TSG spoiler to tell the TSG class what it was in the story line that would cause him to be bag-headed, but doesn't remember how.

Di shows him: 1. how to do a spoiler and 2. thinks, (I think ) that he's complaining because someone (?) hasn't seen the program because they recorded it and haven't watched it yet, so tells him to get over it if someone (?) tells you what happened, because after 2 days it's their fault for not watching it "live"-er. I think.

Bomb gets 1. but not 2.

Am I close?

There was a little exchange between Di and Hotskates, that could be confusing as well, to some readers.

Miscommunication sucks, by and large.

*puzzled by the grey stuff but gets the funny bone*

Words ... typed ... lacking enunciation and whatnot ... yeah, misunderstanding abound, no?

Fluff speaks volumes, but on occasion words and their meaning(s) get in the way....

... even within a species ...

... and we Fluff loverz do run the risk of this happening

There was a sale on eggs in one of the chain grocery stores in this town. I happen to meet one of the ladies that I used to bring farm fresh eggs to. She did say anything to me and didn't talk to her. It was just as if she didn't know me. I seen her later putting eggs in her cart. She later left her cart standing in a spot so that when I came by, I would see that she had 5 dozen eggs in her cart.

It looks like to me that she was trying to say that if you sell your eggs for the price that I am getting for here now, I will come and pick them up from you. Maybe I should pay her to come her and buy the eggs.

I wasn't making any money buy trying to sell anyone fresh eggs. I was just braking even. But it seems that people like her don't care what they are eating. She is driving extra to the grocery store for the discount eggs. These are probably eggs that the chain has to get rid of so they are trying to sell them before they have to be thrown out.

Some people can be so cruel. Everyone isn't like the members on this site, when one of our long time members past away. We accually were able to come up with donations to make sure that Marlene had a decent funeral. I can tell you one thing that people like the one I meet in the grocery store would not give a penny even if she had piles of it.

My late mother would say, "They would see you laying on the street and just step over you and walk away."

Spoiler:
1. Yes.

2. No. But any miscommunication would be down to me, on account of no punctuation. Thus your attempt was appreciated.

1. I was in the paper shop.

2. I saw the cover of a TV listings magazine. The headline said "Mr X cheats on Mrs X".

3. The episode of the soap opera in which Mr & Mrs X are characters that the headline referred to had not yet aired.

4. I was annoyed.

HTH

*sits back & waits for someone to ask why the UK has shops made out of paper*
*or why the UK has magazines listing transvestites*

OOOOOOOOOOH It hadn't aired yet? Well that's retarded. If I were the show, I'd be all up in that paper's business all, "OH NO YOU DI'INT!" Seriously. That's retarded.

And yes, O Mighty Queen.... you hit the nail on the head. AGAIN! I may have to give up my Head Nail-Head Hitter title.

PPOTM: Some people's inability to communicate using proper sentences/words/etc. I think I've peeved on this before, but it really grates on my nerves....if you can't speak English properly, then shut up!!

Lortab makes me sleepy...that ticks me off too...I have a ton of things I could be doing today while the baby is gone, but NO the lortab kills the pain enough to be able to do something right before you zonk out!! *GRRRRR*

DOCTORS--It took them like 15 x-rays when it really should have taken them 4 or 5 max...and who has to pay for that??! ME!! So of course it doesn't hurt their feelings any, because they are going to charge me for them...

INSURANCE AGENCIES--I pay them quarterly in case I need their services (and because you have to have the insurance to get tags for vehicles)....I call to file my first ever claim, and they want to give me the run around. JERKS!!!!! I still owe a bunch of money on that car, I'll be darned if I'm going to let them pay me LESS than what I owe on it!!
