In Bandit's defense.... I read Candy's "apology" the same way he did. As more of an insult than an apology.

And I DO have a sense of humor thank you very much.

As for taking life seriously... I buried my only child a few years ago. That was serious. I try to live on the lighter side of life, if you catch my drift.

Wow, I don't have time to read through everything posted after I signed off last night. Jeb and I went back forth with PMs and I thought everything was fine. I apologized a variety of times via pm and thought that since HE was the one owed an apology, everything was over.

I'm really sorry that even my apology wasn't good enough for some. I'm heading back to Acapulco today, so I must log off.

I'll get caught up later today or tomorrow.

It was a shame this thread devolved to this candy, a small joke got blown way out of proportion. If anyone was insulted it should only have been very minor but like the proverbial snowball rolling downhill it built momentum until it got out of hand. Hopefully you don't feel bad about any of it .... you shouldn't.

You'd be better off to stay out period. You really are a troublemaker aren't you? You just can't keep that acidic mouth of yours closed when its appropriate. I really should slap you around (metaphorically speaking) and get it over with so we don't have to deal with another one of these episodes!

This is the biggest load of crap I've yet seen here--and I've seen a lot. I've taken more teasing from more people on this board than any other 100 people put together. And I'll remind you people that are so concerned wtih JEB's feelings that he's one of the people that insults me the most--he loves to do it. I take it the way its intended--as a joke--I don't mind it at all because he is having fun--I'm having fun--everyone is having fun--that's the point. I would find it a bit hypocritical for him to get mad at me for changing his name (if I had done it) given all the liberties he takes with me. If you dish it out, you have to take it--its that simple. If you can't take it, then don't play with other people.

That being said--JEB handled the thing very well--like a true gentleman--he realized he overreacted and he made things rights. As to AcaCandy, you could see that she was upset with the reaction to what she did. It was also very easy for anyone with the least bit of perception (that' leaves Bandit out! ) to see that her apology reflected the fact that she was upset. No--it wasn't a perfect apoligy, but then it was totally understandable.

The real problem is not with either AcaCandy or JEB, but with Bandit who just couldnt' help starting trouble. I am not the least bit surprised by that, but frankly am very surprised at you help4me, for stepping in and fanning the flames on this one. IT WAS A JOKE--and a very funny one--it should have ended long before this!

The real culprit is Jonesiegirl--who offered to sleep with Mulder if he let AcaCandy change his name!

Joking moonie, joking--don't get jealous--Jonesie turned me down! The girl must really have lost her senses or lost something else!
