I'm peeving plastic parts. Why does everything have to be made with plastic parts? Where does all that metal that I recycle go to if it can't be used to make metal parts that last? And why is there never a metal substitute for the aforementioned plastic part? I just want something that is going to have a useful life of more than 15 days!!! I've had TWO, yes TWO plastic part-laden machines break down on me this week, neither of which are cheap to replace.

Excessive use of cleaning products degrades the integrity of plastics.

Got a point, this is why older items in my opinion seem to last longer, now we are just a "oh it broke, i will get a new one society" where in the past that was unheard of, if somthing broke, you fixed it. Things were made to last back then, now they are made to be replaced every month .

Meanwhile back on a theme I've established earlier....................

If you were jewish in 1930s America you lived a successful, probably happy and peaceful Life. If you were the same in some Countries in Europe you were denied Success, made to feel miserable and anything but peaceful......by the next Decade you would be lucky if you were alive at all. This starts in 1933, and in 1993 a similar correlation happens with the US and a European Country. After that time the US gives us one of the most likeable, funny, and probably decent TV Programmes of recent decades of Televisual Entertainment while Britain starts giving us a bunch of pseudo cultural transient Britpop Groups, the All Saints the Spite Girls and a rather nasty little TV Show called "Looking after Jo Jo". Unfortunately Bristol being what it is no-one managed to establish lasting Contact conducive to what was being made and broadcast from New York at that time so subsequently what I call the 1933 Effect began obtaining the upper hand. The result now is that rather like the emergence of the Reich in 1930s Germany - and the War that inevitably followed it - it is now like 1945 for some of us who tried to return to our pre-1993 Lives and found that they no longer exist. After Black Shirt Britpop, wretchedly conrived Girl Power and dubiously plotlined TV had ravaged everything there really was nothing left! As Neil Young - who has been making real Music since being in Buffalo Springfield - headlined this Years Glastonbury and 'Friends' made 6 comparatively unkown Actors/resses some of the most famous People in Showbiz maybe someone in this Country would like to explain to me what all that 90s crap was about exactly!

When I get to Israel there are a few things they need to know about!

Lead paint isn't a big deal to me, my parents grew up with it, they're fine. My grandparents grew up with it--possibly on their toys, and they are fine. I think it's survival of the fittest, and apparently some aren't as tough as others. Besides, I won't be licking or chewing on either of the two machines' inner workings. (Or the exterior ones for that matter).

I haven't used any cleaning products on the innards of any of the machines I own. Except for the computer where I've used a vacuum to suck the dust out. And powerwashing the engine of my car before I changed the oil the other day.

6 released American Hostages - 6 Charecters in a NYC based TV Programme! Jennifer Aniston's Greek isn't she and even GWB made some stipulated Reference to the Noun for amicable Companions a few Days after 9/11 so this isn't just a pre-requiisite of US Liberalism while there's Athens Greece, and Athens Georgia - and where do REM come from? Has anyone seen the Vid for "It's the end of the World as we know it?" Stipe appears as a Newsreader in the Film to my favourite REM Song!

Currently reading Homers "Oyssey" - Translated by T. E Lawrence!

Todays Gripe is spending Years in Bristol not really knowing what I was supposed to do!

Todays Observation..........................French Sticks......................nothing against Cuisine De France - but if you're going to eat Bread why not have some that you actually get Bread with huh, or make Toast/Croutons etc with?

"Everybody hurts" - Yeah MS they do - and Lighthouse has been hurting for a very long time indeed - particularly the last week or so (mega ouch)!!!!

You say that now, but eventually you'll have a teenager in the house.

I'm peeving people who wait for long periods of time on someone to back out of a parking space at "insert name of store here". Seriously? You are going to sit there and wait on them to finish unloading their bags so that you can have that space? Do you not realize that there's a line of cars behind you? Do you realize you could have parked two stalls down and been in the store by the time you waited on that person to finish unloading their cart and back out? ARGH!!

Other people's kids! Oh well, I like to screw with those type of people by getting in after taking my time unloading my stuff and then making sure my radio is set just right, double-checking to make sure my son is properly strapped in, making sure my hair looks OK, waiting for the car to cool off/warm up, backing out veeeeerrrrrryyyyyyy slowly, indicating that I don't have enough space and that the person waiting needs to back off a bit.......*evil smile* I know, I'm such a witch sometimes. But, those sort of jerkoffs deserve every bit of it. Sometimes I'll even make phone calls, because you know, I'm already stopped and you can get a ticket for driving while talking on the cellphone.

People who park their gas guzzling Ford F-450 truck with 40- foot RV attached... taking up seven parking spaces. Apparently these people feel entitled to do this because it won't fit any place else. Only that should not be my problem.

People (mostly senior citizens) who play the lottery on a regular basis. They walk into 7-11 or another convenience store and open up their lottery ticket folder and ask the clerk to check 10 tickets (all losers, except one). Then they want to trade the $11 winner for 2 of this scratcher plus 3 of this scractcher, and let me buy 5 of these. Oh, No put those 2 back, I want 2 of these instead. And I want to play the Lotto 6 with these numbers for 4 weeks. The clerk adds it up and tells the customer he owes $26. The customer opens their change purse and gives the clerk $20 plus $5, then counts $1 in small change (mostly pennies and dimes). Meanwhile the checkout line has grown to 7 people. Grrrrrr!!!!!
