The group had problems with the Cuban/Puerto Rican beat.

Belinda and Jordan, best girls
Blake and Sanjaya, best boys

Sanjaya did a very good rendition of Besame Mucho, and looked cute. Wonder if the hair was a wig? He will be back next week.

Chris, Phil or Haley will be in the bottom, IMO.

It's getting harder to decide the bottom three and the bootee! This could be another strange week with someone in the bottom three who will be a surprise!

I didn't say this...but Sanjaya was actually good last night!

Blake looked like he was ready to go golfing!

I'm sick so going to just post this:

BOTTOM THREE:

Haley
Phil
Melinda

BOOTEE:

Phil

I would have chosen Haley....but I think she's going to get the teen boys hormonovotes again! Can her outfit get any skimpier next week...maybe a bikini...or a thong!

Good Morning Angel, sorry to hear you are sick, feel better

Sanjaya is not going this week either, I thought he gave the best performance all around - he really knows how to work it.

Melinda - the song itself was beautiful and she sang it perfectly but she looked so matronly and had no emotion - I fear she is a back up singer after all

Lakisha - hasn't done it for me the past few weeks - bad song choice and I hate her hair

Jordon
- I thought she was the best of the girls - good song and lively performance

I liked both Chris and Blake and their songs - seems the boy got the "latin" thing better than the girls - but PLEAAAAAAAASE vote Phil off, he voice doesn't hold through the songs and I just can't stand looking at him anymore - the hat made it even worse

Haley, though is really the one that should go - and those shorts -yes she actually did have bottoms on - were just too short - but I agree with Angel, she may get the young boys votes - do they watch this thing

Saving this for last - I LIKED JENNIFER LOPEZ I have never cared for her and still don't think she can sing - but she was very sweet and seemed to know what she was talking about - I thought she gave good pointers to all the singers - guess I have to Tivo tonight so I can see her sing

OK, without looking at a contestant list, here is what I remember from last night.... It was basically a Gloria Estefan/Santana night. And wow, it was way too boring for a Latin night. And yes, Jennifer Lopez was charming & surprisingly helpful! I think a lot of people were surprised by that.

Melinda.... was technically good, but kinda boring. I think it had more to do with song choice than just being Melinda. She is excellent. Let us sing her praises once more.

Lakisha.... don't remember much except that her boobies were HUGE! I guess she sang OK. Hanna, it cracks me up that you hate her hair. I don't know why.

Chris.... I am liking him less and less every week. We already HAVE a Justin Timberlake and we like him just the way he is! All I hear when I listen to Chris sing is "Where one note will do, I will sing six." And his voice is a little whiny. But I'd take him over approximately half of the remaining contestants, so there you go.

Jordin
.... is great and I love her. Period.

Haley
... is really pretty.

Sanjaya... when he turns down the cheese and stops attention-whoring, maybe he doesn't sound so bad. He still needs to shave, though. BLEUCH!

That's six.... who am I missing?

BLAKE!.... Oh yeah, I did like him last night. I also find him very likable in general.

And Phil.... You know, he could take a cue from Sanjaya (I can't believe I just said that) and just quit trying so darn hard. Seriously. Just relax and enjoy the song. But I fear that he won't get that chance since I'm pretty sure he'll go tonight. So here is my latest, but hopefully not my last, rendition of the Phil Collage.
