Arrow Reflection 2006
So...another year has passed

2006 was not too bad for me...I have had worse..and I've had better...2006 seemed to race by...It's funny but now that I'm older...time seems to have sped up

perhaps I learned a thing or two...but most importantly is that I got right back up when I got knocked down. And I enjoyed the good parts.

I lost a friend that moved far away...I hurt my back again and I changed jobs...other than that...it was a pretty good year.

how about you?

2006 kicked my girlie arse.

It went by waaaaay too faaaaaast... I was waaaaaaay too busy.... and I turned another year older.

Life is pretty good for Luke and I. We're happy, comfortable, don't want for anything, but, I do wish the ATM machine would allow 'time' withdrawals. I need more hours in each day.

Oh. And we love our puppers. LOTS.

Can't wait for the Superbowl... Gooooooo Chargers! And, then? I can't wait for Little League season to start. Oh yeah, baby!

I wish all of the TSG membership much happiness, contentment, good health, financial security and true friendships in the New Year.

Been an interesting year, lots of ups and downs.... (Still don't have a yard worth crap)
Don't know if I'd want to repeat it, but all the goods made up for some of the bads.
It seems when you were younger, the year took forever getting to all the good stuff, school breaks, birthdays, Christmas etc. Now the first of the new year is upon us, and it will seem like about the time we start into it, we need to get ready for the next.

It's been a good year for me.
Lots of stuff happening unexpected, many obstacles and setbacks, and triumphs and steps forward.
I bit off more than I could handle, but that is good...I will adjust.
I have had better health this last year than almost seven years previous... that is a big plus.
This year is going to be hard work, and more health stuff, and family stuff. I'm kind of looking forward to it though, as a lot I do will determine the quality of my future.

I went thru 3 relationships in 06, not good. Very poor housing options, learned what a cheat of a landlord is and what to look for, various brushes with the law for illegal actions on their part (I was exonerated). Became involved with the stock market and 401K's. Found out that I live with women better than men, and I severely dislike the aggressive alpha male. I did alot of healing emotionally and am a far better person both emotionally and physically than when I started the year.

It is always good to take time and reflect! We, as a people, do not do that enough IMO. Not just to treasure the good that has happened, but to also recall the bad...sure it is painful, but those experiences have a way of strengthening us and places our future struggles into context.

'06 was an amazing year for me! There is much in it that I will treasure up...stuff I can look to when times become rocky again (and I know they will). I am thankful for the friends I have and the community I am in -- both online and off.

If you wish...you can now come to church with me! A church that is NOT normal...a church for people who don't like 'church'
